Goldnev’s Provost oil and gas property, in which the Corporation has a 66.5% working interest, is located approximately 160 km southeast of Edmonton, Alberta, and comprises 160 acres of land. The main producing zone is the Viking formation, analogous to the large Provost Viking and Mannville pools in southeastern Alberta. The Provost property includes two producing gas wells.
In February 2008, the Corporation completed scheduled workovers on both wells, resulting in production increase from 20 mcf/d to approximately 150 mcf/d (25 boe/d). |
